Dr. Yaser Khabbaz

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Khabbaz completed a postgraduate residency program in Oral Surgery at Damascus University in 2004.
He then joined the Graduate Periodontics and Dental Implants Program at Saint Louis University in Missouri, USA, where he obtained his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, and a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in Dental Implants from the same university.

He practiced in Houston, Texas, before relocating to Dubai to join the Boston University Institute for Dental Research and Education as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics.
Since 2013, Dr. Khabbaz has been practicing as a consultant periodontist and implantologist in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with practice limited to Periodontics, Oral Surgery, and Dental Implants.

Dr. Yasser has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Oral Implant Surgery since 2008. He is very active in the continuing education scene in the UAE as a speaker in the fields of periodontology and dental implants and has contributed to several research publications in his field.

In 2021, Dr. Khabbaz was appointed as a Senior Subject Matter Expert for the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi, in the field of Periodontics and Dental Implants.
