Dr. Luai Mahaini is a Consultant Orthodontist, German Board Certified (Facharzt), holding a PhD in Orthodontics from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), Germany. With more than 20 years of clinical and academic experience across Germany, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, he has built an extensive career in advanced orthodontic care, education, and research. He currently practices at Bloom Medical Center in Abu Dhabi and serves as a postgraduate supervisor at Ajman University. Previously, Dr. Mahaini held academic appointments at Damascus University, Al-Qalamoun University, and the International University for Science and Technology (IUST). He also served as Head of the Orthodontic Department at MVZ Sigmaringen Clinic in Germany, where he gained extensive experience in managing complex orthodontic cases. Dr. Mahaini is the author of several scientific books in orthodontics and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed international journals. He is also a certified lecturer on Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) and mini-implant orthodontics across the Middle East and has received multiple awards recognising his clinical excellence and contributions to the field of orthodontics.
